These terms govern your use of mezacapital.org and the MEZACAPITAL membership. MEZACAPITAL is operated by Oscar Meza as a sole proprietor ("we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What MEZACAPITAL is
MEZACAPITAL provides education about how futures markets work, including lessons, figures, session replays and practice exercises. It is education only. We do not provide investment advice, trading signals, recommendations, portfolio management or any brokerage service, and we do not manage money for anyone. Our disclaimer and risk disclosure is part of these terms.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, so you are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. One membership is for one person: do not share your account or sign-in links.
3. Membership and billing
- The membership is a subscription that renews automatically each month at the price shown on the pricing page and at checkout (currently $29 per month), plus any tax shown at checkout, until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Where checkout says so, your purchase is sold through Stripe's Link service as reseller, and Link's terms shown at checkout also apply to the payment. We never see or store your full card number.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it. We may keep or pause your access while the payment is retried, and end it if the payment cannot be collected.
- If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account page ("Manage billing"). Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Membership payments are not refundable, except for billing mistakes, as set out in our cancellation and refund policy. Please use the free lesson and previews to decide before subscribing. If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer, we may cancel your membership while the dispute is open.
5. Free content
Some lessons and previews are free to read without a membership. We may change which content is free at any time.
6. Your licence to use the material
While your membership is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the lessons and use the interactive tools for your own learning. You may not:
- copy, publish, sell, rent or redistribute the lessons, figures, data or tools, in whole or in part;
- share your account or make the material available to anyone else;
- scrape, bulk-download or automatically collect content from the site, or try to get around the membership controls;
- use the material to build a competing product or course.
All lessons, figures, software, data presentations and branding on the site belong to MEZACAPITAL or its licensors.
7. No advice, and your own decisions
Everything we publish is general and impersonal. It does not take into account your objectives, finances or needs, and nothing we publish tells you what to buy, sell or hold. Examples use historical market data to explain how markets behaved; they are not trading results and do not predict future behaviour. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and their results.
8. Changes to the site
We may add, change or remove lessons, tools and features over time. If we stop offering the membership altogether, we will stop renewals and refund any unused part of a period you have already paid for.
9. Ending your access
We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, for example by sharing your account or redistributing the material. If we end your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund any unused part of the current period.
10. Disclaimers
We take care that our material and tools are accurate, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the material is complete, current or free of errors, or that the site will always be available.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site or the material. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your membership, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
